The Bruin Undergraduate Policy Review (BUPR) is a nonpartisan, undergraduate policy publication at UCLA dedicated to promoting rigorous, evidence-based analysis and opinion editorials of public policy. We are a student-run organization that empowers students to engage directly with pressing policy issues through research, writing, and nuanced discussion. The Bruin Undergraduate Review provides a platform for students of all backgrounds and political perspectives to analyze public policy in depth, develop their voice as professional writers, and contribute to meaningful public dialogue on the issues that shape our time — whether this week, or this decade.
While our newsletter is aimed at informing fellow students on policy highlights weekly, our policy analysts also undertake a more personalized journey into a detailed review of a policy topic in an area of their choosing, which is published in our final quarterly reviews.
